This page can be used in any number of ways. It can be given out to pupils as they watch a movie, or as they discuss one as a class, or if you want them to try to summarise a film or story they've just heard/watched.

This sheet is aimed at younger pupils (7-9yrs) and puts more emphasis on drawing than on explanation.
This sheet can be used in a number of ways. The children can chose which six parts of the film or story they are studying to include.
It can be used to storyboard the childrens' own story, and develop an understanding of the beginning, middle and end (story structure).

This sheet is aimed at older pupils (9yrs and above). It puts equal emphasis on drawing and writing. It can be used in the same ways suggested above, but the writing space gives more options.
The writing space can be used in a number of ways. It can be used to explain what is happening in the picture above, in detail.
It can be used to give technical information, if film is being studied in class, such as the type of shot, the direction of the camera.
It can also be used as an explanation space: why the child/children have decided this scene is important and should be included.
